Hey all, new owner of a 2001 P71, so far, I have cleaned up the yellowed headlights, replaced the flakey front turn signal bulbs, replaced the front window smoked rain gutters, and also found the correct color cup holder/ash tray at a pick-a-part yard here in Indy. the car has 100,500 miles on it. loving the ride so far...

I have called Ford Customer Service and requested a History 999 report on the car. I just got a courtesy call back and they said that I will get a build sheet on the car within 7 to 10 working days mailed to me. I have done this for my 86 SVO and its not a build sheet per-say.... its on Ford letterhead with what was ordered on the car at the time of build, it will state the actual build date as well and it will be signed by a Ford employee who did the research.

pics of my '01 CVPI. I am thinking of next years Annual Indy Mustang Club show already. Just to be different, I may enter the PI into the specialty section instead of my SVO, but then again, I enjoy car shows so much, that I will probably enter both.

Nice looking car. Looks great with the honeycomb grille and rims.

I wish i could take credit for the pieces mentioned, but it all came that way. I did, however, add the drivers side smoked rain gutter, the pull-out cup holder assembly under the dash, the new turn signal bulbs in ront and getting rid of the orange paint flakes out of the headlights from the old turn signal bulbs, and the ticket writing dome light lens thats in better shape than the one that was in the car. I have a brand new lens on order coming soon. thanks for the comments.
