So with your turbo manifold you just modified a stock manifold?

yea im still running that 60mm.. And "hotrodjcc" i think me and Rich both just used the stock manifolds with no mods and just made a y pipe to feed the turbo!

yes, well what i did is check a few different manifolds. thunderbrid,vic's,f150's etc... and found the Thunderbrid's have a better flow with there manifolds then i cut off the end and welded V-bands in place. the factroy flanges leak when going above 12lbs(9/10 times) turbo's don't like exhaust leaks.

thats a pretty good idea rich..Im actually working on a different setup on mine. Im taking equal length headers from BBK and fliping them backwards so they face the front end of the car and cutting the flanges off and welding 3" v bands like you did. I think it will look sick :)... me and you need to meet up sometime since we both live in FL lol

My plan was for a positive displacement, but I have grown away from the look of it hanging out after seeing how the max max whipple fits. I'm now leaning towards the turbo kit, just trying to figure how much of a pita it will be to get a manifold fabbed up.
02fastvic, your y pipe is running under the k member or between the k and the engine?

I've even toyed wit hthe idea of running a single turbo and using the lightning lower manifold and getting a sheet metal upper and perhaps run the liquid to air intercooling system.

No problems with being so low? I'd like to see more fitament photos from yours and Rich's car. All the manifolds I see for stangs are requiring an aftermarket K member. Also I'm having a 5.4 engine which will be a few inches wider.
Sorry Rich not trying to hijack you, just admiring your photos and set up
