Why are the injectors leaking after shutdown.? Are they sticking open. If the o-rings are bad then it would spray which is a bad thing but it would occur after startup. Hehe, I had that happen during a test drive. When inserting the injectors I musta shaved one of the o-rings and man, gas was everywhere. 88GrandMarq, what brand injectors did you get, from where, and what was the cost. I just replaced mine with some cheapy GP Sorensons that weren't that cheap. $40 * 8 = lotta cost. I like the rails that General Motors uses in their buicks. Little more heavy duty. Not just a tube with little openings.

i have SVT87's old 14# injectors in my car. i did the swap as a test to rule out my injectors as the cause of the 'random engine miss'. i dont remember having the problem with leakdown until after i swapped his in. my guess is one of them is staying open, and letting fuel leak into the cylinder. i dont know why this would cause the engine to crank for 5 seconds extra...but when the engine is hot and sat for 20 minutes to 5 hours it will require 5 seconds extra cranking and reak of gas after it turns over.

Some cruise info

If you swapped in a Mustang EEC brain, it'd be simpler to swap in the stand alone cruise control from a stang as well. All you need is the amplifier, the servo, and the VSS signal.

Cool.

Cruise control on our cars is controlled either by a stand-alone electronic box, or it is integrated into the ECU. I think 88/89/90 was the switchover year(s) from one system to the other.

Alex.
