i have a 98 cv police. 175000 mi. i was degreasing the engine in prep for a tc cover job. after i rinsed of the eingine and cranked it up i noticed a misfire. so i got my scanner out and i pulled code p1401. the dpfe giving high voltage reading. would just raplacing this sensor fix the issue, or is their someting that is causing the high voltage reading. i just did a tune up so i know its not the plugs. i checked my injectors with an indicator light, all are pusling, but the strangest thing happens when i disconnect an injector. on cylinders 1 and 7 when i pull the injector plug the idle smoothes out compared to when they are all plugged up. also when i was checking the codes the engine overheated spraying coolent everywhere. i had just replaced the fan. please help

You can try drying out the sensor and see if it works better. THese engines are like Englishmen in that do they do not like taking a bath.
