Been a long time coming but Friday I finally took posession of ADTR's new shop car Casper. It's a 2004 CVPI formally from Ventura County. Only 100k miles and got a fresh repaint including the rear fascia and grille.

Definitely needs some work but overall in good running condition. Starting this week we're taking some measurements for intercoolers, tinting the windows, getting rid of some of the overspray and starting to order some more parts!

Suhweet! i've heard that an intercooler kit designed for 03+ CVs will also work on Marauders. is that true?

so you buy it on Friday, have it repainted, and take it to Fab Fords on Friday. Car-razy! What's the plans?

So far I've done little things to the car. I got the windows tinted all the way around, installed a new headunit (as the car came with nothing) installed 22FM plugs and installed the Heinous control arms (which are SUPER badass!) I'll be writing a how to article for install shortly!

Tinted:

HEINOUS BEFORE:

HEINOUS AFTER:

Also some new pics after testing the arms out on Mulholland

Just got done porting a plenum and have an Aviator TB waiting to go on... Probably do that next week.

Hi Chris,

I won't receive my control arms until Monday, but from what I've read I won't be disappointed.

However, I have installed one of your ported plenums and a BBK 70mm TB. That is on bad ass combination.

The only thing that gave me a comparable seat of the pants feel was when I installed better gears. Went from 2:73 to 3:27 and got a Reinhart tune at the same time. (Yeah, I know, I should have gone for the 3:73s...20/20 hind sight is great).

UD pulley are next in a few weeks.

Thanks for all your support of our little community here.

They keep the rear axle centered under the car, they control torque twist, and they help the rear axle move in-line with the driveshaft (cutting down on Universal joint wear and possible driveshaft fatigue). After my sway bars it looks like these will be the next thing for suspension.

Speaking of which, any word on the group buy?

Why won't it fit? Is there a specific year it goes on? What's it supposed to go on?
