It was a 2 hour drive up to meet the guy on CL but it was definitely worth it. I finally got my Saleens for $350 with tires yesterday. The guy I bought them from seems to be some sort of foxbody expert. He had 14 of them in his backyard a nice real nice shop to work on them. I got home and test fitted them and they look incredible. I also installed new smoked headlights and corners, so it looks like a completely different car now. Now I need spacers (1" in front, 1.5" in rear), red brake caliper paint, and a set of SR center caps. I decided to keep the ones in the rear and mount the steelies on the front until the spacers arrive. Figured it shouldn't be a problem since there isn't much of a size difference and there's no rubbing on the back. Also, decided I won't be lowering it. At least not now. Just doesn't seem like it needs to be lower, they look fine without it. Well, enough reading, here's the pics:

Thanks guys. And yeah, it could definitely use a paint job. Not sure I'm I should get it painting Vibrant White or Silver. Either way it should look good with all the blacked out stuff.

I don't know. If I do that, it will probably rub when the springs are contracted. And It looks fine now, so I don't think I'll be spending all that money on lowering springs.

And damn, that sucks, P71. Saleen's look real nice on our cars. Chrome Saleens on your black Vic would be a sick combination. And black one's would look real tight.

where did you buy the rims and how much did you pay?

I really like black wheels like that.
I'm a steelie junkie but I'd love to have a set of those on my Beastie.
Failing that,I'd love to have a set of 03-04 Cobras on it.
I'm probably gonna wait till I sell this one (the 01) and get a newer (post 03) model so I won't have to fool with adapters.
Hopefully, I'll find some knucklehead with his head set on putting a stupid-ass set of 24's on an old Po-leece car and I can get a newer one.

I found them on Craiglist. Had to drive up to Jupiter, FL which is like 100 miles up north. I paid $350 and gave him my center caps, and he gave me a set of 4 Saleens with General Exclaim UHP's. The guy was some sort of fox body expert. He had like 15 of them in his backyard. And he didn't want or need the rims so he gave me a sick deal.

I recommend looking for Mustang rims on craiglist. You find Bullitt's, Saleen's, GT's, etc. And you can find some really great deals. Well, good luck.

Finally mounted them on with the spacers. Took two hours in the rain but it was well worth it in my opinion. Here are the pics. Though it looks better in person. I took most of the pics from a low angle and you can really see the wheel well space but when standing up, it looks just fine. Here you are:
