Yeah, I'm pretty sure they just measure your speed at the end of the run. Some cars start off slower than others (traction issues, etc.) but have real good top end performance, so it could have the same time but higher speed speed as a car that just does pretty good throughout the whole thing (starts smooth and just ride out good until the end).

Drag strips usually average your speed throughout the last so-many-feet of the run.

Not a bad time, but how are you people pulling off such lousy 60' times? I think even with my single exhaust, 12" converter, one-wheel-wonder 2.73 stocker I was getting like 2.27, 2.3!!! Are you guys spinning like hell? Feathering like hell? Seriously?

I know I'm modded, but I hopped on Thompson Dragway up in OH for the first time and nailed a 2.05 right off the bat.

Hadn't paid any attention to this thread, then I saw this! Weeeeeeeeeeeeee! The faster cars (that I know exist) haven't posted yet!

On mine, first one I feathered to prevent spinning and get the feel, second actually hooked pretty nicely hence the 2.29, and the last run was a nice half second squeal. Plus, laugh if you want, but I have snow tires on the back as well (came with the car), which I know was 10x better than the RSA's in the front, but probably not up to par with drag radials or the like...

And I would like to see the other people post up, we all know the swappers and blown cars are going to be impressive...

Before tune and 80mm MAF, Bald tires, but i will try to get it back to the track before i put the gears on so I can see what exactly the tune is worth in the 1/4 mile. I'm going to guess a 15.4 or lower.

Why was your car so slow?!?!? I saw the before and after vid and your car was so sluggish before! lol I think you will probably be 15.5ish now!

I thought you said you were having tranny issues or something too?
