I guess this will apply to 06+...
What are your idle hours?
Also, if you have a Superduty, post your hours too!

08 F250 Super Duty Diesel 284 hours.

With just over 24,000 miles it makes me think the hour timer runs all the time with the super duty.

I need to get a picture tomorrow, but the truck I drive in for work has some ungodly amount of hours. It has like 172,000 miles and when I saw the gauge last it was somewhere in the thousands if not hundreds of thousands of hours. Surprisingly, its an beat to hell dodge 1500.

Mine is over 1500 for my '07 P70, but I think that it counts it even if the car is off, and you're listning to the radio.

Nope, idle hours only counts when your car is:

1. ON (engine running) at in park, or
2. ON (engine running) and in neutral.

In my search for a car there was a posting for a Crown Vic police car that had under 100,000 miles and 3300 hours of use!

Makes me wonder how many idle hours are on the CVPI's withOUT an idle meter (pre-2006). I bet there are some 1999-2004 CVPI's with easily over 5,000 idle hours on them.

I wouldn't mind knowing how many are on mine. On the other hand, I don't really want to know that badly...
