I'm about to put some 26s on the vic and was wondering will the car be able to pull them or will I need to upgrade under the hood?

Upgrade the brakes while you're at it so you can safely stop the thing.

Rather than "under the hood", I'd focus on the front-end components and suspension. That's what is going to take the beating.

I don't think there's anything under-the-hood you can do to address the fact that it will handle and ride like a conestoga wagon, brake like a Freightliner, and probably rattle all your 12-year-old front suspension components to pieces.

You may want to do something to address the fact that you will be running a VERY muscular effective final drive ratio of 2.35 something with what I'm assuming are 3.27s in the back.

It will be a VERY comfortable ride. Ride like a Cadillac biggrin .

Epic, sir.

In all seriousness though, this won't do anything good for your vehicle.

Buy lots of trans Gaskets and seals because its going to leak trying to push all that dead weight around.

i had a set of 22s on my vic (bought it that way got it cause of paint) and it just had longer brake pads on and when pushing the brake pedel the brakes was squishy like there was air in the lines switch to the set of 15s that came with the car and its not squishy anymore and i never bleed the lines and dosent feel like they need to be anymore also it felt like my alignment was off after puting the 15s on its not going to the left or right like it was
