You'll have to use some adapters to fit those flowmasters into your stock exhaust. I picked up a couple at my local auto parts store and it make the whole swap a slip-on/clamp down deal
Hey david im on the flowmaster website looking at flowmaster 40 series delta flow they have 2" inlet and outlet mufflers for sure just thought id let ya know they are on second page of size/ part number listings.

don't do the delta flows on stock exhaust they will not sound how you think.
go with the original two chamber if you go flowmaster at all or go Magnaflow..

Why are some referred to as delta? Nick what did you use to hang the flowmasters? Did you have to weld a hanger on them? What about the resonators? Remove em?

I would personally stay far far away from any chambered muffler. I personally don't think they sound very good on modular motors, and you will probably see absolutely ZERO performance increase.

you will see zero performance increase from just a muffler change no matter what muffler you pick. It is all about sound.
I had the two chamber 40's on my 98 and didn't think it sounded to bad.
I love the Magnaflows on my custom setup though and will never get anything else.

You can remove them. If you were to look at a stock exhaust from a P71, you would not see any resonators, since P71s don't have them.

yah sorry about the quality. The magnaflows sound so much better plus they are SS compaired to galvanized so they will last just as long as the rest of the exhuast system.
I have a vid of my current setup but it is really crappy (even worse) cause the exhaust is so loud it maxes out the mic and the audio gets cut..
