I spent some time the other day sanding the one and only rust hole i have in the body of my car. I started out with a hole about the size of a tennis ball and i ended up with a hole the side of a softball. Today i took the car in to a body shop and they are going to weld metal into the hole. That is the end of my major body work. After that it is sanding and glazing to fill those little dents and scratches. I am going to try and get the car to Maaco on Aug. 7th. Soory i have not posted any pics latley my computer is busted.

This is the hole that i started sandingand just kept getting bigger and bigger

I took the car to a body shop and had them weld some metal in the hole i think they did a ok job seems pretty strong

I am getting the same color they charge more to change color. They quoted me 500 to paint the car

i need to do this also i have a dent on the lower part of the door on both passanger doors on the right side of my car

Wow, what body shop did that patch panel? They did a really nice job with it.

That section by the rear door looks GREAT!
Nice work, can't wait to see the finished product.
I would keep the handles black, if they fade or wear you can just spray them again in the future.

Agreed, keep them black, thought about doing mine body-colored, but decided against it. Did this instead:
