The GS Two Tone Package includes: hood ornament c-pillar emblems LS style body side moldings body color mirror caps (the b-pillars are body color too, but I don't know if that is package specific) two tone interior (mine is leather and includes embossed logos on the seats) front door sill plates that say Grand Marquis

Put a new driver side mirror cap that had no scuffs or scrapes, and found out the spring the holds the parking brake cable rusted away and needs replacement.

OK will do. I may end up getting a headlight wig-wag flasher and, if I magically come into a large sum of money, a siren as well.
That said, I've got to ask the chief about a medic bag for the car. If I get to pick my own bag I'll definitely be looking to get one of those from you.

After regaining consciousness, I ran to O'reilly's and spent $140 on maintenance items for the Merc. Came home and spent several hours changing the diff fluid with Royal Purple 75W90 and the trannie fluid/filter. Trannie fluid looked really good but the pumpkin juice was in need of changing.
Found a mysterious part in the bottom of the trannie pan...yellow looking plug almost like a fishing cork with a rubber o-ring around it. Couldn't see where it might have come from so I buttoned it up without it. Hope it wasn't important.
Also gave the lawnmower it's spring maintenance while I was covered in oil and smelled like butt.

Thats a plug for the dip-stick tube. Not needed. Its job is to keep crap from getting into the trannie before the dip-stick tube is installed at the factory. When the dip stick tube is installed the first time at the factory, it falls harmlessly into the pan. All it means is the pan hasn't ever been dropped before. ________________________________________________________
As for what I did to my panther today, I installed my exhaust tips before it started raining, then took it for a drive after it had been raining for awhile. Purposely hit some largish puddles to blast all the salt and crap out of my wheel wells, all shiny in there now.

Whew that's good to know. Thanks for telling me! There was very little stuff in the pan and only a slight buildup on the magnet in the bottom. Fluid was still nice and red and didn't look or smell burnt. Good news for me!

Finally got the compass mirror hooked up and it works great. Don't know why I was so confused. But am happy now. Now later today ill be cleaning the carpet I found at the junkyard and get it ready for install. Its pretty bad and needs a lot of cleaning.
