The calculators say 42lb injectors for the power I'm guestimating and probably a Walbro 255 or Focus SVT pump. I'll see what Lonnie recommends when I get closer to first start.

If I were you I would consider that aeromotive stealth pump. 340 lph. Its what I picked up for my truck. I have not installed it yet, its for my lightning top end swap.

I don't think I'll need that much for an NA application, but I'll look into it.

That's what I'm running. Got it from Lonnie at Blue Oval Chips.

The heads FINALLY shipped out to MHS this afternoon.
The block and crank have been put away for storage a couple weeks ago.
Not much I can do to the engine without heads so its time to start focusing on the necessary vehicle changes.

I've been playing around with the hydrobooster the past couple of Saturdays. I got it clocked 90 degrees so the accumulator is on the upper outside corner instead of inside. The lines come in underneath. I then had to find a master cylinder that turned the lines to the outside.

After two trips I settled on a MC from a junkyard Explorer/ Ranger. It isn't ideal at all but it is being made to work. I gutted it and cleaned and inspected all the seals. I had to machine down the diameter of the alignment bore to 38.5mm from about 41mm. Now I'm in the process of cutting down the actuator rod on the booster because it's not the right depth and it isn't adjustable like the vacuum booster. There's probably a better fitting MC but I wasn't going to spend too much time looking. It's aluminum, I'll just make it fit.

The booster stud pattern needs to be widened 1" across. It also needs to be spaced out 1/2" from the firewall because the plunger rod is that much longer than the vacuum booster. Both of these issues will be solved in one step with an additional mounting/correction plate.

Once I get all the machine work done on the plate I'll mock it up and measure for the P/S lines. Custom hoses will be made along with custom brake lines and I should have a functioning hydrobooster in a month or so.

After that we start on the AC chamber.

I've decided to pass on the Sullivan alternator bracket and fab my own reverse mount bracket similar to the Eaton swap brackets the Marauder guys use.

OUT

IN

I won't have to swap alts first of all, or move the ABS off the frame or swap oil adapters or any of that nonsense the Sullivan swap calls for. I can reuse my own 130 amp 4g alt, and it's lower profile than the 6g alt so it won't stick out all that far. I'll make my own bracket to use all four mounts. The guy selling them on MM.net wants too much and his design only uses the lower mounts

The backwards one might be easier to service later too.

Sorry to hear you have to go through so much trouble, I didn't have to do any of that stuff to fit my master cylinder to my hydrobooster.

Like I said I could have spent more time researching, but I only went through what I saw at the junkyard. I had no luck at all finding anything with the right bore. Regardless of the piston bore, all the mounting bores were about 2-3mm too large.

You use a newer booster than my 98 don't you? According to Bendix -98/99+ use different master cylinders. Maybe the newer ones use the more common bore cause I couldn't find anything to fit mine.

It's not a big deal really because it's aluminum I just shaved it and its no big deal to shave the rod. The plate will be more interesting.

With Nick from Modular Head Shop out of the picture, that definitely is a serious blow to your project, sorry to hear.
