I took out the Marauder trim from the dash and painted it with some other stuff.
For some reason my airbag light was on, when I put the new cluster in confused

And I finally removed the pieces of the column shifter that were still in there so I can put on the right shroud when I find it.

Since the Marauder one definitely doesn't fit on an '05

Received my GoPoint BT1 diagnostic tool for my iPhone. http://gopointtech.com/products/

And it is iAwesome. The free apps are really pretty adequate, but being the gear head I am, I bought the upgraded application interface. Then I spent an hour looking up and inputting all the technical data on the Merc and the wife's Z71 into the application so I can get good info out.

So far I like it and it does let me see and clear any DTCs I may have.

Wow I wish my column was metal shaving-free like yours BlackVic.. ha. Good luck with the shroud hunt, and airbag light is cuz the steering wheel is off..

As for today, drove it to work, about to put new plates on, admired its dirtiness.....sigh. It needs a bath bad, but moreover, its really starting to need a paint job.. stupid white flaky crap. frown
