If he was referring to weight...my 18" Mustang GT wheels with tires are extremely close to the same weight as my 17" steelies with tires and covers.

I'm guessing in rim weight. But its not really a concern. If it was then we'd all be going to drag rims

You sabotaged my car Barryr! It looks like my driver side rears sagging! Maybe the air ride has a leak on your car and possibly mine now?

Not possible my friend. I don't have air susp. Just coils in my pig. Thanks for trying to blame my car though! LOL

Well it's your fault for me having to buy fanblades. And even though they have 2 new tires and 2 [censored] tires, I have to buy 4. Cause the new tires are crap from town fair tires 139 dollar 235/50/18 crap/special rack. So, not only am I'm out $360 for the rims,( thanks craigslist) and another $840 for 4 new Bridgestone 255/45/18 RE760 tires. So, don't tell my wife, OK? banana

Wife: Did Barryr pay over $1k for rims and tires?
Me: Whos Barryr? Is he that guy I saw that got a killer deal on some sweet rims on tires and only paid $1? If it is I'd pat him on the back and give him an extra kiss tonight

I got your back

Wow, these Bridgestone RE760's are some nice handling tires. Look good too. Hard to get em seated on the rim they were so stiff.

Are they a soft compound or harder compound? I'm probably going to need new tires in a year because of burnouts at the track and just burnouts for fun:P

They way stick, I'd say bubblegum type compound. They do not have a mileage rating like most other Bridgestone/Firestone tires do, so that should tell you something. 340 A A

The only bonus I see is,

I only drive about 6000-8000 a year. Live real close to work.

I have my old steelies that I have 2 snows for, So grab 2 more snows and I will have a complete swap set for winter.

So, 4000-5000 a year on bubblegum tires and 2000-3000 a year on crappy S-rated squirrely snows for 4-5 months, YEAH rolleyes

I should get at least 4 or 5 spring/summers out of them.

Lol yeah my car only sees a few thousand miles a year but I do burnouts when I'm at the track to try and get some traction so that doesn't help them last longer. But maybe with stickyer tires longer burnouts won't be needed:)
