This is my 2006 P71 I got June of this year. After my last Vic was totaled, I went 7 months without a Crown Vic... Drove a Mark VIII for a couple months, sold to a friend and bought the '73 Mercedes 450SEL. My heart truly lays within a Panther, though. I saw this online and whipped out the credit card because I couldn't resist the low price. Found it on GovDeals and won the bid for $2,100. Flew to Union County, NC to drive it back. It was a prior K9 car so I went through the interior inch by inch, pulling panel by panel to remove all the hidden dog hair and dirt. I took lacquer thinner to all the left over residue from their decals, and sprayed over the flaking paint (which continues to own me). It's got 113,000 on it as of now and 5800 idle hours and still runs like a raped ape. The smile on my face as I drove it off the county's parking lot was like a kid at Disney World.
I got rid of the steelies in favor of some GT Premium wheels. I was able to salvage the 235/55s off my Bullitt wheels that were bent to sh*t from my last car's accident. Before:

Today, I painted the rear fascia, swapped grilles to chrome and painted the grille surround along with the mirror caps. I am pleased with how it came out, even though the rear doesn't match perfectly, it is cleaner than the black IMO. I removed the old tint (only had it on the rear windows) and got 15% all the way around.
I had to swap the Ford emblem from one of my honeycomb grilles over to this one. I did a quick measure and drilled new holes to fasten it since it is larger than the chrome grille logo. Got it right on the first try (that never happens).
I also bought OEM replacement headlights on eBay (used). I bought from two separate people and was lucky enough that they are both in the same crystal clear condition:
I also covered the two left over antenna bases with Aquafina bottle caps which fit almost perfectly. Looks better than having ugly black bases sticking out.
Built this center console when I was bored one day. My previous custom center console broke in my accident. I had all the supplies to make it...The stainless marine cup holders, Grand Cherokee console bucket/ arm rest, wood and carpet:
That's all for now... I may remove the spot light soon, not sure yet. Kinda goes with the chrome on the grille. When I do, I got a guy who will patch the notch in the door for cheap. I'm not too concerned with performance mods right now as I am making sure all the maintenance gets done first. I drive 80 miles total a day for work so I want to make sure I have a reliable car. I did the blinker mod and the Sheriff's office that owned it before did a complimentary bumper tuck.
And last but not least, the Panther that started it all:
