You must drive like a boss.

Now I'm paranoid about mine.

I haven't noticed anyone mention that problem on here thus far.

Its actually pretty common. especially here in the rust belt. But even rust free southern cars can break those mounts, they aren't particularly strong. The sway bar mounts to a frame gusset that was not originally intended to have a vertical push/pull force from the sway bar. '03+ frame design has a better mounting IIRC.

I don't think I'm that good honestly. I just have crap roads here. I've been on dirt roads much smoother than the asphalt here.

Lol no the CF bridge was actually fine, it was the two bridges where Rt 322 turns into cameron street and goes over I-81.

*Hopefully* we're done with snow here now. I have to run down to Kansas City tomorrow then back home Friday so I didn't want to wear the snowtires on dry roads anymore than I had to.

Bought insurance for it.

Thru some convoluted situation that resulted in my previous company canceling my policy 3 weeks ago and me not knowing about it till last week, I'd been driving w/o insurance. Would have been nice to know that sooner, but whatever. Now I have a lapse on my record and the cheapest I could find is a full 3x what I was paying for even less coverage. My previous company won't even consider issuing me a new policy until I have had 6-months coverage elsewhere.

So, I'm now totally broke and still have basically no coverage. [censored] insurance. What I was told by several agents I talked to is that most companies won't even issue a policy if there has been a lapse over 30 days, so I was basically bent over a barrel and HAD to buy from somewhere. Ended up with esurance because they were the cheapest I could get. Even then its a ridiculous amount. At least I can shop again and probably end up cheaper again in 6 months. Insurance has to be the biggest racket on earth.

As for the rear bar, its just the ADDCO rear bar.

I just got back from alignment shop. I noticed yesterday when changing over to summer tires that my snow tires had some uneven wear on the inside of the tires. Alignment shop confirmed the camber was off on the passenger side and toe was slightly out on both sides. My summer tires look perfect, even wear across the tread so maybe a pothole knocked the alignment out over winter. I'm very anal about keeping my alignment perfect.

Almost got hit by some dipshit making a left turn. If I was a couple seconds slower, it would have been the end of the Vic.

Well it turned out that I have spend a lot more time on the car than expected.

when I raised the car on the lift to do the dual exhaust what I saw confirmed what I smelled the other day...diff oil frown

Driver side axle seal was leaking alot...so knowing how bad the 03 axle are I had no choice to rebuilt the diff with my 04 axle that I had to undo on the car, then new axle bearings and seals and voil smile .I left the open diff and 2.73 in there for now as my mind isnt set on this.

While I was there I also swapped the coils springs. The 03 got the 04 coils springs with the airlift kit and the 04 got the 03 civilian springs.
I need to lower the rear end of the 04 for a better weight transfert and softer ride while the 03 needed a firmer ride and improved towing capacity.

So duals are in aswell as the hpp rear sway bar.Now the front end really feel loose compare to the rear end.

While taking the car out of the garage guess what? a bolt from my 1997 crown vic end up in my front tire causing obviously a leak frown

dont know if it,s bad luck or not nono

I'm done for now
