If you want Dyno proof I can post my 1st run with stock 65mm tb and stock ported plenum vs. my 2nd run with a 75mm tb and ported 75mm plenum. I gained torque and horsepower across the board

just my 2 cents, i just snapped off the silencers (they break off cleanly if ur careful, they are separate pcs snapped into the tube, not molded into it as one pc) and capped the holes with plastic caps epoxied in place and spray painted black. Looks pretty clean and sounds way better. Also snapped off the small restrictive little intake horn on the front of the airbox and found a pvc tube at Lowes the same exact size as the much larger opening left there and epoxied it on and spray painted it black. Top that all off with a K&N filter and bam it sounds and feels like a cold air intake kit. Definitely got a noticeble improvement in throttle response and still havent gotten a tune. I was going to do the same thing to my air box but someone showed me how much bigger the 80mm box is. It's way bigger on both the MAF and snorkel side. You can find them for less than $50 on car-part.

The underdrives account 7hp.

So right now my intake set up consists of and open cone filter, 80mm MAF sensor, aluminum intake pipe, Ported & Polished 65mm throttle body, and 75mm Trick Flow Plenum.
My question is whether going to a 75mm Throttle Body is a better option than the 65mm P&P throttle body considering my Trick Flow plenum is 75mm and my MAF sensor is 80mm?
Wouldn't the air flow be "straighter" with the TB and plenum being the same size?
