Usually I don't have time to do my own stuff (or some laziness sets in), but no shop could get the oil change done prior to my trip, so one trip down to Advance Auto Parts and I was set. They had a special going for the Motorcraft filter and oil for $24.99, so why not?

After oil change, went and filled up with some 93 octane for $3.71/gal and aired up all the tires (including the spare), so I'm set for the morning trip.

Pennsylvania, here I come!

Installed heavy duty KYB shocks all around yesterday. Ride seemed bouncy at first. After sitting overnight, the ride seems to have settled down a bit. Handling has definitely improved.

Got my new tire. only took Belle Tire a week to get it when it was supposed to be 2 days. Well, to be fair, it was 3 days, they just never called me to tell me they had it because thats apparently good business practice. Whatever. At least they got it and it was less than full price. Would have almost been worth it to pay full price for the tire somewhere else just to say FU to Belle Tire. When I called this morning to say WTF, the guy says "oh yeah, thats been here since Tuesday" like, it would have been nice to know that.

Didnt get a chance for pics. It's raing here so I'll have to try and get a video tomorrow. You can't hear it at idle but you can def notice it when on the throttle. I think the resonators are gonna have to go.

They will open up a bit. Mine were way quieter when they were new. Sound pretty good now, but I still want a bit more volume out of them. Still have resonators as well.

Oiled the air filter, Rain-X'ed the headlights, checked the tire pressure. Might put a couple more pounds in the back ones for the trip.
