I did it. I have some left over pins but if you go to a junk yard you can grab the whole headlight switch plug and use any of the pins.

I did the mod and it came out great and easy to do. I ordered pure white HID's from DDM. I was hoping to post the results sooner but I am still waiting for them to arrive. There shipping is ridiculous. They charged about $23 and don't tell you it is about 2 weeks from CHINA. I hope I don't have problems as I will be pissed.

So, just to be sure. I would use the same wiring set up with the two relays, even if I'm not going to use HIDs?

Yes. I did not do HID and still used two relays. I used the factory Focus bulbs.

If I recall the pin you have to add to the harness is a ground that triggers the fog relay that will power the power the fogs. The primary battery relay allows the system to only come on when the parking are on or low beams are on. Your choice. If you chose the low beams the fogs will shut off when you activate the high beams like most domestic cars. This whole system is wired this way when you look at the back of a relay panel on any vehicle. You are only doing what didn't come from the factory.

Follow the diagram on page three for any fog/driving light install on any car.

Thanks for the info. That was my next question. Since I leave the switch in the auto position, I don't usually run just parking lights. Any one know which wire feeds the low beam?

Question: If I wanted it to operate like a factory install, meaning fog lights operated with parking lights and low beams, but shut down with high beams, would I simply install a Normally Closed relay on the line energizing the fog lights that is powered by the high beam line? So when the high beams are on that relay opens.
