glad the mega wind and rain storm didn't drop a tree on my ride, but alas...all those pine needles have gotten everywhere, and infested my windshield wiper cowl to no end. i hate winter

Drove it to work and back. Since we were slow I played around with my phone's editing options for pictures and came up with this...

Finally got my hood to close but it's still a problem because it won't pop up right. I'm so afraid after I sell this car I'm going to want another Vic..

Almost ran it out of gas yesterday.
I drove to do errands yesterday because I was really low on gas and we were going to Sams Club anyway where I normally fill up. Then after we are down the street, my mom informs me she has an appointment 20-some miles away in 20 min. The dash was indicating 45 miles to empty, so I went for it. But I had to get her there on time, which required driving much faster and more aggressive than I normally do and it chugged that 45 miles to empty by time I got there (it determines that number based on fuel level and cumulative average MPG). But we made it on time. I then went in search of gasoline and joy of joys I got stuck in traffic, bumper-to-bumper traffic outside the mall. So I have the dash beeping, fuel gage blinking, telling me zero miles to empty (for a few miles at that point) and NO bars on the gas gage, and I can see the gas station but can't get there. It sputtered a bit trying to go up the driveway to the gas station. Gas was like $0.25/gal more there, but I had no choice so I put $10 in it which got me a touch over 4 gallons which was 1 bar less than 1/4 tank and 80 miles to empty. So it was pretty much totally empty. Continued errands and filled it the rest of the way when we finally got to to Sam's Club, which took another 16 gallons.

I guess I'm replying to myself since it won't let me edit my last post.
Just changed the oil in it. 5200 miles on the last batch of MaxLife. It was a bit low, I've added 2 quarts since last change. So consumption is down a bit I suppose. Works out to be a quart in 2500 roughly.
As usual, I forgot to turn off the air suspension so it was a scramble to run back and open the trunk and flip the switch before it dropped all the way down. Thats always fun. Maybe I need to put a giant note on my floor jack to remind me before I lift the car.

Re-aimed my headlights because it appeared that they were up too high. Well now they're too low and are right about where I started before I got the aimer. They were better being excessively high, and no one ever flashed me (yet I still wonder if they were glaring).
I'm going to find a really flat area because the slope on my garage floor almost has those aimers at the extreme for the floor slope measurement. I probably goofed somewhere, but the way the lights are now have cut 90% of effective throw distance.
