I was just browsing ebay and stumbled upon this, pretty neat and the price is right! Might have to sell the ported 3 piece aluminum intake I have sitting on the bench so I can buy this bad boy lol

Can't really tell from the pic, but I'm sure you could make it fit without the alt bracket to manifold. I haven't run that bracket for 8 years anyways. laugh

I did but this one actually has some plenum volume! That would help the everyday traffic driving for sure!

Oh my god! Quickvic30, you're alive biggrin

Interesting intake manifold, it reminds me of 5.0 HO intakes with the triangle shape:

It looks like a regular Vic Jr. with a wart on top. Also looks like said wart bolts onto the regular square bore of the victor jr thats under it, so it should therefore be able to be rotated to face the throttle body in whatever direction you want. Wonder if you can buy just the wart, or plenum, or whatever you want to call it. Looks pretty ugly to me.

Interesting... Summit states the basic operating RPM range @ 2,900-7,500, same as the Victor jr. was rated prior....
I wonder how different it would be with this big ass plenum.

Though Edelbrock states the Victor Jr basic operating RPM range is 3500-7500 on their site... and doesn't mention the 28385 anywhere..

Not a bad price, considering on one site it stated that it "Includes electronic timing control module and is easily modified using a laptop. Comes with Pro-Data software"

Lol indeed. That whole listing is a mess. The part # is for the intake only, and I'm guessing that's all you'd get. Btw the bolt pattern on the intake isn't square, it's 5 1/8"x 5 5/8" (about) so it would take a good bit of jiggering to work sideways. Might not clear fuel rails too. Don't know what that plenum is, but it's wild.

I believe this is a misleading photo

it is a combo of Edelbrock Victor Jr. EFI Intake Manifolds 28385

and Edelbrock Throttle Body Intake Elbows Forward Mount 3850

and the description is for the intake manifold only!

Does not look like that would fit without a alt relocation.

IMHO,if I did the forward facing, I would go this route. http://www.sullivanperformance.com/yvs450/products/intakemanifold/tbadapter.htm

Interesting but under applications and engines it lists the LS and 5.0 push rod. Doesn't say anything about what intake to use it on. But it clearly looks to be for the Victor JR. I guess the LS and 5.0 are just what kind of Thottle bodies you can use with it. Might be something to think about for those supercharged or turbo members on here. Im sure they would benefit from a 90mm TB.
