If you guys can't find one other person on CVN to meet, then do whatever you want but this photo "challenge" thread needs to be renamed because you guys are being total wimps about finding literally one other member within a half-hour drive from your houses.

Make CVN great not so f'n lazy again:

That's just it Adam, there isn't any members within 90 miles of me, again 90 miles. It isn't lazy, it's the cost of a tank of gas to attempt this challenge. CVN is poor, and I won't drive that far unless I get a Dutch rudder which appears to be only given out in Ohio and sometimes in Chicago.

I support this message. I have plenty of members around. I just haven't posted any meet pics because I don't succumb to terrorism.

Okay, sounds good.

According to the guidelines we've been following, it falls back to me to issue the next challenge:

In honor of Memorial Day, take a photo of your Panther (from outside the car) with a full sized (3' x 5' or larger) American flag usa

If you live outside the US, please feel free to substitute with your own national flag.

Yes, I know that. But I can't "lead" people to not be aloof, whiny, socially anxious, geographically disadvantaged, etc. - I can only suggest it. Ultimately, though, the members can do what they want - and appear to be doing just that. I guess I put more reverence in the word "challenge", though.

I really wish I knew any local CVN people. The only guy I can think of that's here and is close enough to reach in a day lives in Columbia, SC, but he's usually busy throughout the week. He made some intro posts, but I don't think he did anything beyond that. I love putting a face to a name on forums like this, particularly because it humanizes things a bit more, or at least for me.

That last challenge was too difficult. My car is in the garage and my flag is in the front yard.

in keeping with the memorial day theme...picture of your panther next to a piece of military artillery or tank.

most towns have a park or VFW with a piece of artillery out front

Push it out to the front yard, it'll save on gas that way.
