So I'm going to pull it a part yard and was wondering if I wanted to grab another transmision what years would I have to grab for my 03 cvpi. I think I could get away with 01 to 03. Don't know if this is correct info. I hope I don't have to stick to just the 03 year model as the newer models are few and far between around here. Anyone that can offer some insight much appreciated

01->03 is correct. 00 and earlier would less swappable, enough difference that it is best to start with 01,02,03. 04+ would require significant work, or an add on module because the OSS signal is different.

correct... 2001-2003 are direct bolt in, no modifications needed. 98-2000 will work, but will require you swap over the OSS sensor on the driverside of the transmission. 2004 will also work, but will require a PCM tune to change the OSS sensor signal from 6 to 24.

look for CVPI, town car or Marauder transmissions... they all have the long output shaft.
