I recently installed a new stereo in my '11 P7B, but it seems a previous owner really screwed with what I thought was "factory" wiring. The original harness had been cut and a new non-oem ford plug was terribly taped in place. There are some loose wires, which leads me to my questions:

1) does anyone have a wire color diagram for the plug? I have four loose wires that are not speakers, 12v switched, or 12v constant.

2) where can I pull a signal to let my system know it's in reverse?

3) where can I pull dimmer signal to dim my system with my instrument cluster?

Thanks a bunch!

Does your car have the standard CVPI basic wiring? It's possible that a previous owner didn't know and just bought the wrong one and that's why you have extra wires hanging around. Your '11 may have the wire for steering wheel controls in it as well, I know some did.
The CVPI generally got the 16 pin plug for the radio,

the other models got a 24 pin plug for extras.

There is a reverse signal going into the LCM.

The radio harness in stock form has an Orange/Black or Light Blue/Red wire going into it for the illumination which will generally dim an aftermarket stereo.
