I'm in the same boat with you guys; I don't like the look of pipes hanging down off of a car. However, it looks like it wouldn't be too hard for a muffler shop to "adjust" them slightly to tuck them up in the factory locations.

Also, it looks like he probably could have mounted them a little closer to the body/frame; they look pretty close to the axle tube, and they might hit with a bad bump or pothole.

Personal preferences aside, it looks like we have a direct-fit option for our cars now.

Kaytar. Do you have a pic of what you had to do on the passenger side to extend the radius over the axle?

No sorry I don't. These are just many of my own personal archived photos I've collected over the years of panther research.

If I recall the passenger side required more effort then drivers due to watts linkage.

Will these work on the earlier whales 98-02 and other panthers in general?

Thanks

can anyone tell me if the OEM marauder tail pipes would be worth 120?

If ur talking about the long chrome tips I would say yes. Worth $120. I’m an obsessive marauder owner and if I needed some to finish off a resto or to return a low mile pristine example back to stock I would buy those in a second.

The Impala pipes look like a much better fit to me. The flowmaster pipes sit way to low and will definitely limit jounce travel of the axle. Watts link interference would also be likely. Just because you got it on there doesn't mean it fits...
