My ex gave me back my old 89 because she thought she trashed the motor,it was a timing ping and some how the timing got advanced too much. Set the timing and now to find a pair of good used tires for the front and a set of shocks and I can drive it,with 110,000 miles I might have to replace the timing chain in the future. I bought it 10 years ago for 2500,the ex wrecked it but was not her fault and got 2400 from the other drivers insurance company and then she offered me 1500 for it after I brought it back from the dead a second time after she ran it into the ground again so I bought a truck and now got it back for free but have to buy her dinner.

This was a few days ago but I've been busy: Got 29 boxes of 3/4" hardwood flooring delivered, 50-60lb per box. The freight company wasn't "allowed" to back into the driveway, so naturally the guy tried to pull the 1600lb pallet through the mud/gravel at the end of the driveway on a pallet jack. When that immediately got stuck, we loaded it all into the p71 (it fit, though the trunk wouldn't close) and I drove up the driveway and turned around to unload it into the garage. No issues, though I was looking at the sky with the rear suspension approaching the bumpstops!

It's warmer again, which means the EATC runs the AC compressor when the heat is on. Which means the car starts misfiring under load in overdrive.
To get around that annoyance. I drove home with the windows down.

Drove it to work through the endless rain we've been having that started early morning yesterday that is still going on today. While going home, I heard the belt squeal for a few seconds since I couldn't avoid a huge puddle. Entered it in POTM. Still haven't driven it since last Thursday. Are you gonna wash it when you do drive it?

Looked at picking up a factory P71 exhaust from the cat back including the frame hangars as an upgrade to my 01 P74.

Depends if it's above or below 32. If we just had the cold, without the rain, I'd wash mine since we are just a block from a nice drive thru car wash.
