Just wondering what the differences in the floor boards of the panther platform through the years. Reason being is that I'm looking to put new rubber flooring in my 90 p72 and can't find any for that year but can for the 92 and up. Thanks

The only meaningful change was 1989 vs 1990, however the carpet may be different 91/92 despite the floor pan technically being the same due to the outer edges where it meets the moldings at the door openings. Someone else would have to chime in about if the 92 carpet/rubber will fit the 90-91 box overall, but it would otherwise fit the trans tunnel and seat mount locations.

The last real change as far as floor covering fitment was the relocation of the airbag control module to the top of the trans tunnel for 1998, meaning any carpet/rubber floor for a car newer than that will have a extra hump below the ashtray. The airbag module is larger and in that same location on a '03+.

Between '90 & '00, Vic/GM floor pan sheet metal (5411135) had part # changes '92, '95, '98. Can't tell you what the differences are though.
90-91, F0AZ-A
92-94, F2AZ-A
95-97, F5AZ-A
98-00, F8AZ-AA

Town Cars...
90-91, FOVY-A r/b F2VY-A
92-94, F2VY-A
95-97, F5VY-A
98-00, F8VZ-AA

Carpeting for Vic/GM only...
90-91, F0AZ-5413000 r/b F1AZ
92-96, each year had prefix change with 2nd digit corresponding to model year.. F2AZ, F3AZ, F4AZ, etc.
97, F6AZ & F7AZ
98, F8AZ & XW7Z

Found black rubber & black vinyl mat part #'s pertaining to police only Vics. This was 5413010 #. Uncertain if this is for the black rubber floor covering like I have in the cabin of my '92 P72 police...

Lists front (5413010) & rear (5413046)... (the floor pan sheet metal was two separate pieces, & was always listed as 'front' for the cabin, & 'rear' for sheet metal under the rear seat into the trunk). In '95, rear mat 5413046 began being listed as for 'luggage compartment' from then on. That makes me think 5413010 & 5413046 may be the actual floor covering, not feet floor mats, because feet floor mats wouldn't go in trunk.

Feet floor mats with colors/logos are listed as 5413086 (front); 5413106 (rear), & a kit (both front/rear) is 5413300.

If 5413010 is for cabin rubber floor covering, & not just plain black rubber mats for police cars, the prefixes/suffixes are:
90-91, F0AZ-BCE, black rubber
92, F2AZ-BA7, black rubber
93, F2AZ-BA7, black rubber r/b F3AZ-BA7, black vinyl
94, F4AZ-E, black vinyl
95-97, F5AZ-CFA, black unspecified

In '98, 'complete black rubber floor covering' began being listed as: F8AZ-5413000-CAA.

Finding good floor pan pics to compare is a PITA. Below are aftermarket carpets. Top is '81-'91 Vic; bottom is '92-'97 Vic. Have to compare differences.

Thanks guys. I'm just gonna order for a 92 and see what happens. They all look fairly similar.
