I have an 05 p71 that likes to wander at about 75 on the highway.
I have replaced all of the front end parts except the steering rack, the steering shaft campaign has been done , not sure what else it could be.
I have replaced the upper and lower control arms with ball joints and bushings, tie rod ends inner and outer camber bolts installed and had it aligned at ford and at independent shops.shocks and springs havent been done recently and dont know the age.

they are about a year old Michelins probably about 1500 miles

I was gonna say idler arm but your's has R&P, no idler arm.
How much air in tires? Try 40 front and 44 rear one time.
Also, check rear suspension bushings, etc for wear or rotted rubber.

2nd vote for checking tire pressure.
There was also a recall for steering shafts on 05. Have you had that done?

Could also be from the rear suspension. Worn watts link and rear control arm bushings will cause a case of the wanders.

I second BigMerc96, though my Panther has the recirculating ball power steering. However, these cars require full replacement of the front and rear-end suspension parts to drive steadily.
Also, the tire size might be a factor. I got my MGM with the CVPI 17-inch steel rims and 235/55/R17 tires, which are the maximum size for the car and the rims this big. The car simply bounces, floats and is very prone to wandering that is only deleted when the steering pump EVO restricts the flow at highway speeds to make the handling firmer. I noticed that the wandering effect was largely reduced when I switched to smaller winter tires, 225/55/R17. I'm considering letting my summer 235/55/R17's go in favour of 215/50/R17's, they should provide much better handling.

I have the factory 16 size rear end has been fully upgraded with metco arms and links, i have not done the rack bushings though
