This pic (2017) is from the Great Lakes Panther group.

There's clusters of people all over and most don't want to drive more than about half a day for a meet.

It's a huge pod of whales! But where are the box-bodies?

Well, add to that we drive old-people cars that the newest model is now nearly 9 years old.

Back in the day, the Dodge Daytona group was the single most active group on Yahoo (I said back in the day wink ) As the years went on, posts started trailing off as people moved on. (then Yahoo screwed up the groups, but that's another story). It happens. Although I have heard that if you want to reach the young people, you do have to be on the facesbook.

As far as distance and duration, yeah what's happening is a big part. I voted for short, but would consider option 2 as well. Oh, and if mini meets count, I need to change my response to "yes" for the meet question.

Oh, that could never happen here, but then again, it might. nana

Would love a meet up I’ve been bullshittin with y’all since 2012 I think,of course my car has no engine at the time so depends on if I’m done with the build or not,I’m right on the TN/KY border I’m about 45 mins from Beech Bend, not sure how many members cars are Road warriors my car almost 22 years old but I’d drive her a good distance.

I have driven for meets before, I did the Power Tour in 2012, NY to Detroit to Dallas and back to NY...it was ~4000 miles.
I drove from NY to Branson, MO for a few(3 years) and that's ~3-4000 miles.
It really depends on the time of the meet and the location.

I'd be interested also depending on specifics but anywhere between like Chicago/NY/SC triangle I could probably do.

If I end up holding the bag on planning something, my leading weekends are August 29-30 and October 24-25.

I am very interested, however those dates are most likely going to be towards the beginning of fall semester for me. Additionally, it puts me in the position of having to choose between a CVN meet and another trip some friends had started putting together for TOTD in June because money.

Understood, but unfortunately, I can only pick dates that work for me if I am going to plan and attend said meet. My schedule is filling fast this year and that is the only weekend that's left open. frown
