Do yourself a favor and grab a Ram clutch alignment tool!

The one that came with the clutch was trash and I couldn't get the input shaft of the transmission in properly because of it.

Being twin disc makes it more of a challenge.

Here's the 26-spline one I used (are you 10-spline?)

some more up dates smile

Got the diff out. Gonna ditch the ford's track lok in favor of an Eaton detroit truetrac .
I am keeping the 4.10 gears in there for now .

Diff is dusty so I an going to clean it and probably repaint it again to it,s former glory

Control arms seen better days too !
lots of overspray for the previous 2 paint job.
Bushings on the upper arms need to be replace as they are shot but it's a no brainer everything will be replaced and arms stripped from over spray.

when they were new against the stock control arms

I dropped the fuel tank to be able to paint the frame and I need to change the pump from a 255 to 340 lph .

By the time I receive these parts it will have enough time to clean the floor and repaint the whole thing .

I wont lie it's been on the back burner for a long time . Family time being a priority and dealing with other issues set me a few month back on this project .

Diff is a complete rebuilt with moser axles , eaton true track and diff 4,10 gears

floor pan and frame has been stripped from the flaky p51 jobI did few years ago and re coated in black .

new mcleod twin disc clutch and pressure plate plus new flywheel with ARP hardware .

That alone costed me a few grand righ away except the axle that were generously donated by a good friend of mine MR John smile cnginterceptor

lots of details and parts to buy along the way as everything is pretty much being replaced along the way so it,s a costly and lenghty process but Iwill get there !

Silly rabbit, project cars are never "finished."

Way to go, Peir. What's in the motor this time?

Well beside the fact that this is my second 5.4 block , it uses the same internals than the first one but with new rings off course.
The main difference is the cams that are now specefic to the trickflow heads (cant remember the cam profile tho it's been 5 years already ) and I am back with an HPS intake.

Having a more suitable intake and the correct cam will certainly help in the overall performance of the engine . We will see when I hit the dyno and track burt considering the car has been away for 5 years I still have to stretch and warm up the old lady before starting to see the full potential of this new set-up .

My ultimate goal is to hit 11.9 N/A . Fast enought to be brag about but not fast enough to get my ass kicked from the track lmao.
