The windshield of my '86 is always getting smeared with some kinda foggy, oily stuff on the inside. I don't smell any gas or oil fumes but it always fogs up with the stuff. It takes Goof Off to get it off. Anyone encountered this before? Someone once said it's the sun bearing down on my dash. Mine's been recovered.

Even a recovered dash will outgas for a few years. Either that or it's time to quit smoking.

E-code lights w/ relays, LEDs w/ switchbacks, 15x8 Ansen slots w/ 255/60 BFG's, Kenwood stereo, various hacks.
This, of course, was merely the semi-delirious notion of a fever-patient, but I remember that it struck me at the time as being eminently practical and feasible.

Heater core leaking? this usually shows up on the floor

AC drain plugged?

Use of Armour All on the dash pad doesn't help
