Missing bolts on aluminum crossover?

Had the intake manifold done twice to this car now. I noticed the aluminum crossover is missing a couple bolts? Should I throw some in there or could there be a reason my mechanic left them out?

This is an nPI Dorman but I am pretty sure the crossover is the same even for an OEM PI intake: passenger side:  drivers side (only one bolt in mine and if I remember that makes sense with the mounting bolts/thermostat housing bolts):

I see, thank you! That puts me much more at ease. The guy I had put it in always does great work, but I've never done an intake and that was really puzzling to me haha.

OK, I see your pic after I opened it, looks like you're just seeing the unused portion of the tapped holes, if there is a bolt in them, it comes from underneath … and try poking a small wire in them two holes, should hit the bolt's end … if you can't see the ends.
