Hi all,
I have a 2002 Grand Marquis LSE that I've been slowly upgrading for awhile now. I've done the ADTR rear sway bar, along with a tach and a-pillar pod. Now I'm looking at doing the MZT with the 04 airbox, but the only question I have is about wiring. I have the six pin connector with four wires, and I know the new 80 mm MAF has 6 pins and wires. I'm comfortable enough with soldering so I know I can do it, just which wires go together? Do I not use two of the wires on the new MAF and just drill a hole in the airbox for the IAT? As far as I know, I just match up the colors and disregard pins 1 and 2 on the 04 pigtail.
Attached are pictures of my connector and the diagram.
Sorry if this is too wordy, I'm just a little confused. Thanks in advance!

Believe me I've already read everything several times haha. I can't find anywhere how exactly to wire it up

Every wire on your existing connector stays in the same position using the newer 03/04 MAF - if you want to use the integrated IAT the gray and gray/red wires on your existing IAT wiring get put to the outer two pin positions (which are currently unused on your 02)

It is likely easier to just make the hole in the upper lid for the old IAT sensor and makes reverting to stock much simpler

Ended up figuring it out. Used the integrated IAT as per Marty's recommendation. Couldn't be happier!
