Hello guys, quick question about the tire pressure sensor, i switched out my steel wheels that came with my crown vic with 19in gt wheels and the tire sensor light comes on. Now if i want to add the sensor i have to purchase new ones but here is where i need the help. What part number is that? If anyone knows it would be appreciated. I did search inline but there are different kind of sensors that it gives me. I just want the ones that go with my CV 2010. Thanks

You can move the sensors from your old wheels over if you still have them and avoid buying new sensors but you need new straps.

They use the sensor that is held on the rim with a band not the kind that goes in the valve. You should be able to get the part number off tasca parts.

It's crazy what some will pay for a new clamp band. The old fashion worm drive screw clamp band will work fine and is reusable, cheap at under $4 or $5 each, and if you're worried about it loosening, apply a zip tie at the screw end. You are gonna stick the TPMS in place with a spot of adhesive so it's not gonna move around the wheel. If you call it a TPMS band, it'll be $40 each.

If you want new sensors, I leave my steelies as is for winter, I use these on both the aluminum explorer wheels and mustang wheels. They're the solid stem version. The rubber stem ones have included a speed limit warning on some of them. Probably the weight of the sensor hanging off the end.

And you want to pick up the training tool for learning the new sensors:
