Still haven't touched it. But I did carefully shuffle around it again today as I grabbed stuff from my old garage to bring to the new.

I met my new neighbor. He runs a limousine company and uses, you guessed it: Panthers. We chatted for awhile. His current daily is an '04 Town Car (not one of his limos) he bought new. It currently has 393,000 miles on the original engine and trans. according to him. He just scrapped his oldest limo (an '06 Town Car) with 592,000.
bubbles

On a non-Panther note my resident beater, the '07 Galant, is no more. Gas tank developed a leak a few weeks ago. Drove it sparingly after that but today it refused to start. No crank or nothing. To do the gas tank would require dropping the exhaust, which is currently held in by 100% New England Loctite. Stupidly, the starter is buried behind the exhaust manifold, which also received the New England treatment. For a car that I paid $400 for 4 years ago, sold for $800 and then had it given back to me I'm cutting my losses while I'm ahead. Just rolled 179k, too.

Scrap truck comes tomorrow.

I put the bike rack back on. It's 44 degrees today, which is tropical for this time of year. I'll ride a little after work.

frown Man, that thing you had in your sig about the Galant was hilarious.

I know all about the New England Loctite, though. biggrin

Today I took care of those swirls left after the last waxing. I noticed them yesterday as we took the Merc to supper. I guess the last time I waxed it was maybe too cool and more swirls appeared after I buffed it. Then I put the cover back on it before finishing up putting air to my carport from the basement where the compressors are.

Early-morning bank & grocery run, figured glare ice would be safer than Kia drivers as road hazards go. Got some human-ABS practice. That long wheelbase makes skids easy to control. May have done some donuts.

I'm jealous that you get to drive a Box in the wintertime.

Finally got around to putting tire savers underneath my CVLX. They are made by Maxsa Innovations, part number: 37353BK

That tire shine is probably doing more damage to the tires than the earth is.

Assuming I remember right from the discord, he threw down a 9.45 1/4. No slip posted though so idek how much I’ll believe that.

On another note, made more progress on my CAI. Box sucks cold air from under the car, with about double the opening size of the stock box. MAF housing I ended up using is a 83mm, probably for the best. Just waiting on connectors to arrive so I can do my tube.
