So, Weenie, where were you at the time of the shooting? In Washington, engaged in a tactical egress of fecal matter from a cave into a man made body of water to await exfiltration. I almost scrubbed the mission from an expected toxic gas release, but I got some last minute close air support that neutralized the threat.

Sorry, if you haven't found out by now, CVNet is a rather moribund place, frequented only by about a dozen oldtimers. Asking a question takes a bunch of time and a little luck, hoping one of the oldtimers passes by to see it and answer it. If you're looking to meet and communicate with other fans in your area, you'll probably hear crickets. There are only two other semi-active CVNetters within 500 miles of me.

How's the rust on cars in the SW Florida area? there's no road salt, but it very humid. Not in Flordia, but I'm in the southeast, so I'm familiar with the heat and humidity. Regarding rust, really you've got about three factors: 1.) Is the car a transplant from a rust belt state? 2.) Does the car live very close to the coast? 3.) Has it been parked for several years on grass? Typically stuff doesn't rot like a rustbelt car, unless you find a car with those variables. Transplant cars driven in the winter are obvious. Near the coast they may be exposed to salt spray and may have varying levels of corrosion. Cars that sit on grass (and I don't mean parked for a day, more long term, like several years) tend to trap moisture under them and that can rot them. Otherwise, rust usually isn't much of a factor down here. The only caveat I'd say to that is a car with bad paint where the panels get surface rust on the roof, hood, and trunk, but usually that's not the cancerous frame and body rot usually seen with salt eaten cars.

How's the rust on cars in the SW Florida area? Your location says "SW Florida". Seems to me you could just...answer the question by looking at the cars in your neighborhood.................?

An old quote regarding rust I have never forgotten. When an ad says a little rust I have to ask, Texas little or Ohio little?
