Hy everyone,

I am new to this forum and not yet a CV owner. But hope this will change soon 😉

I am currently looking for a CV PI with street appearance pack. Thing is, I live in Germany and want to import one of those. I already own a boxy B-Body that was also imported (Oldsmobile delta88). grin

I do have a friend who does imports located in FL who will help me with payment, pickup and shipping. Also I am in contact with a dealer selling CVs in FL.

Currently I try to gather as much information as possible and try to understand pricing. I also do have a pretty exact image of my search criteria:

2008+ CV PI with street appearance pack
Max 150k mls
Black exterior
Tan interior
trac-lok (pref 3.55 axle, cause they do always come with track lock)
Located in or close to FL
Offers welcome if this is OK here. 😉 pm preferred.

I will do a proper introduction here (with pictures and all that) after I found a car and it arrives in Germany. Cause I guess there will be plenty more questions 😉

greetings

Sebastian

I hate the tan interiors- or any light colored car interior for that matter just like light colored carpet. Every one I've ever seen is always nasty and dirty. I'm fortunate enough to have a black interior which I love and was the main reason I bought my 07 even though it was white.

Greetings back atcha, Mr. Sebastian! ("Herr Sebastian"?)
Have you considered a car at Chicago Motors?
They have had a good reputation here at CVN, and deal in used Police vehicles. They don't sell junk, and usually have a few Crown Victoria P-71's available.

I don't know if they would consider a sale to Europe, but your American friend can contact them, I'm certain.

Best of luck!

Have you looked closer to home? There might be some embassy cars around, which should have all the right equipment for Europe.

Glad, everybody has a different taste nana But in case you are saying that light interior needs more attention, that could be right. wink

Dang... starting at 10k+ :-O But very low milage and completely mint. But thanks for the hint. I will check the site from time to time. FL located would be easier.
From a gut feeling I think you can get nice ones between 3-4000 if you make a god deal. Or is this way toooo optimistic?

btw Sebastian is my given name ;-)

Well I did. But there are several reasons.

1. Availability
Hard to find exactly what you are looking for.

2. Price
They are rare and people are nuts and greedy. It's like 1000$ auction cars are imported - put some Badges/Stickers on them (even no need to be authentic) and easily sell them for 10-15k. Dents and scratches are sold as "History of the car" or "police patina :puke:"
Import, tax, paperwork & repairs could be done for maybe 4-5000$ roughly. At least for a company.

3. I imported cars before from Japan & USA. Also I know how to do technical changes/repairs myself. So maybe I think it is interesting to try to do all the process by myself.

Hi and welcome! Where are you at in Germany?

I bought my current 2008 on ebay in February 2019 and had it shipped here from California.

Hey Joerg,

congrats. Well I guess that FB marketplace has more offers right now. Also prices for a decent one start at 6000+ $ on ebay wtf

Greetings from OWL (close to the Sauerland :D)

You can also check this place near me in Phoenix, Arizona; MT Motors They always have rust-free Arizona CVPI for sale; they are well known to be buying them up at government auctions here.

https://www.mtmotorgroupllc.com

You are probably already familiar with Cop Cars Online in Florida. https://www.copcarsonline.com/

This guy is also in Germany and has a couple of videos of his CVPI on YouTube.

Good luck!!!

@66lincoln: Thanks for this links. I added those to my link list. grin

EDIT: Short translation as this is a english forum. blush

thanks for the recommendation for import companies, but I prefer to import myself. It would not be my first import. Actually searching and importing is the most fun ;-) Also there are vehicle inspection engineers in your area who actually know what they are doing.

Ever been to the roadhouse US Car meeting in PB (like before Corona)?
