I'm putting some P71 stuff on my LX, I'm getting forged style upper control arms to replace my stamped ones. Is there any difference on the lower control arms?

I'm about to go on the Gambler 500 and I'm trying to beef up my front suspension as there were 3 separate Vics last time around that went "kachow".

The only difference between the p71 control arms and civilian is firmer bushings.

Ford switched between cast aluminum and stamped steel lower control arms several times throughout the years, there's no performance difference between them.

Though the forged upper arms are definitely a little stronger than the stamped.

Thanks! I ordered forged uppers and mevotech's lowers are allegedly forged so I got a pair of them. If they're just cast aluminum instead of forged I'm still happy either way - I think they look better than the stamped steel and when they're the same price, whatever!
