I am going to replace the old and now starting to crack front anti roll bar bushings. Its the two big ones up front. The after market suppliers only give these dimensions.

1. "Front Sway Bar Bushings - 27mm" "(1 1/6 Inch)", >1.06inches
"(Only Fits 27mm Bar)"
2. "Front Sway Bar Bushings - 28.5mm" "(1 1/8 Inch)", >1.12204724 inches
"(Only Fits 1 1/8 inch Bar)"

Supposed Bar size from below chart
(29.5mm would be, (1 5/32 Inch) 1.16141732 inches) not offered, did they round up?

3. "Front Sway Bar Bushings - 30mm", >(1 3/16 Inch)>1.18110236 inches
"(Only Fits 30mm Bar)"
listed as "(1.20 Inch)", >1 13/64 30.48mm

However a person on what has usually been a reliable site for info on these cars has stated.
F5AZ-5482-A 29.5 95-97 Police & trailer tow
F5AZ-5482-B 28.5 95-97 Base civilian
F5MY-5482-A 26.0 95-97 Used only in grand marquis & town car without trailer tow
MY RANGE IS BELOW!
F8AZ-5482-DA 29.5 98-02 Police & CNG (Supercedes F8AZ-5482-BA)
1.16141732 inches
F8AZ-5482-AA 28.5 98-02 With rear springs with rear stabilizer bar
1.12204724 inches
F8AZ-5482-CA 27.8 98-02 Towncar without handling package
YW7Z-5482-AA 27.0 99-02 Without rear stabilizer bar

So, which one are the right ones? the 30mm or the 28.5
5MM difference is half a centimeter when layed out straight.

The closest to 29.5 is the 30mm, I know its hundredths of an inch. I would rather avoid extra issues and playing the return and rebuy game.

So, which bar does this car have, the 29.5, the 28.5?

Still runs, and drives. They took all my stuff. I suggest everyone start pulling the fuse relays, lots of them being stolen.
My car was stolen on 10.26.2021 at 7:13PM exactly.
I reported it at exactly 7:20PM Got them on camera, and the plates off the drop off car as well. Who would steel a car with the passenger side all mashed up, from a homeless man?

2000 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor SOHC 2Valve.
VIN#: 2FAFP71W2YX166864
Currently at 208,000 miles. Currently Passenger side is mashed and bashed from a fist fight with two attackers and a pitbull, that turned into a road battle when I ended up stuck behind them in traffic. I won.

Lady hit my passenger side front quarter panel in the parking lot, insurance totaled, paid me out. Kept the car. Salvage titled frown.

I'd measure mine if I wasn't sure and I needed new bushings for mine.
Your bar, if a PI, is either 1-1/16 or 1-1/8" or very near 1-1/4".
My OEM civilian front bar is 1".
You can use a big adjustable wrench set to the bar diameter and measure across the gap.
An inch is 25.4 mm.
The difference between 29.5mm and 30mm is five tenths of a mm, less than 0.02" .
