Why does something like that even matter. The stock one is ergonomically correct. You do realize there is a button on the end of the stock shifter for OD?

Because screw it, let's have fun would be my guess. It's always my reasoning for doing any mods to my car! Pretty much any mods you do to any car, especially cheap ones like these, don't really matter, as the car already works just fine from the factory

On my '95 T-bird the button for OD is on the shifter Tee handle. On my '07 F-150 it's on the console beside the shifter. Maybe something like dash mounting the button, or mounting it to the lever like a Line Lock button would free one up to put a big ole glass door knob on the shifter, or a chromed skeleton head, or ... whatever? Just for giggles, a white round Hurst ball with a 4 or 5 speed pattern on it?

Edit Reason: just 'cause
