Although this is for my Marauder, I'll gladly listen to any sound clips you might have of these mufflers on YOUR Panther, even if it's a 2V. I know there are other clips on YouTube on other cars, but I sort of want to hear how these sound on a LONG exhaust system.

I currently have SW headers and will be installing 4" res-delete tips whenever the new muffs go in. Don't want the car too terribly loud, so I'm shying away from Super 44s.

Plus, I like the fact that these are 304 stainless.

Do they make them in a case longer than 14"? If so that would be my choice.
Even with the short case my experience with them on other cars is at WOT they will announce themselves. At idle and part throttle not obnoxious.

No,I’ve heard them on a few cars mostly chevys and one ole push rod 351w and they sounded good but not sure about a 4.6.

Looking at the cutaway graphics for the ultra-flow, I would guess it would be similar to a louder magnaflow. Same design but with only fiberglass packing rather than stainless mesh and fiberglass

Yeah, I'm starting to shy away from it. I definitely don't want more volume.

FWIW, the magnaflow XL's I put on my vic have a nice rumble to them without being super loud. Definitely louder than a regular magnaflow, but not super 44 loud at all. I have a bit of drone from about 65-75 mph, but it's very, very tolerable and doesn't give me a headache, vibrate the whole car, or overpower conversation or the radio. Even so, that drone only came in when I switched from 18" 3.5" resonated tips to the 22" 4" non-resonated tips I have now.

I went with part number MPE-13255 on summit, though the price has definitely gone up from august of last year. If you're interested, I can get you a sound clip at some point, though yours will sound different with your header setup

This past winter I changed up my 3" SS setup. I ditched the Dynomax turbo mufflers and went with the polished 28" (overall) Magnaflow straight thru. (fiberglass packed)

It's deep, no drone, and I dont wake up the neighborhood. So far so good

Wonder if they make a comparable 2.5" muff. I'll have to do some digging. Thanks, Travis.
