That'll give me time to retouch the pics.

E-code lights w/ relays, LEDs w/ switchbacks, 15x8 Ansen slots w/ 255/60 BFG's, Kenwood stereo, various hacks.
This, of course, was merely the semi-delirious notion of a fever-patient, but I remember that it struck me at the time as being eminently practical and feasible.

Turned over 56,000 miles, but it was up to 56,004 by the time I got home where the camera is.

My plan was to force the temp door to the "cold" position.
After pulling half the dash apart and still unable to get to the door, realized that with all the disassembly required to do that, might as well fix it the right way. Since I wasn't prepared for that, cleaned everything up and put it back together.

Did accomplish one thing- the tape head was out of alignment. Fixed that. Sounds much better now, though I still have low audio from the right channel for some reason.

Cleaned about 50% of the stuff out of the glovebox.

Plugged the passenger airbag back in after I forgot to do it the first time.

Still can't find the slugs for the power windows. That's what I get for putting the box somewhere that makes sense and I'll be able to find it when I need it next time, rather than leaving it where it was.

Drove around for the usual Saturday errands, caught a thumbs-up from a cougar driving a '91-92 LTC.

The day before I registered here n00b It sat for more than a few years with a blown transmission waiting for the right sucker buyer to rescue it.

Drove around some more today, but couldn't find the cougar in the LTC.

It read zero for at least four miles.

I was at 5 miles to empty when I left work this morning, I drove home, which is five miles, and it read zero before I got home. Then I still had to drive the three miles to the gas station.

That sort of behavior ain't good for an electric fuel pump...

Not sure if it was the 1/2 bottle of Lucas, or the "High Mileage" oil that cost me a whole dollar more, but I haven't had to add any oil since I changed it, wand that includes a WI trip!

I know it's just a band aid, but I'm enjoying it while I can.

Switched to summer tires, finally, after I had left the snow tires on since 2019...
Got the car inspected (german TÜV) - good to go for two more years
