New member but long time user of Crown Vics, starting in 1983 when I drove a Ford LTD / LTD Crown Victoria patrol car, and by the time I retired I was driving a 2011 Crown Vic.
Since retirement I've always had a CV in the driveway as a second car, all of which started as your everyday white P71 but were soon color changed.
My last one was forcibly retired by a drunk driver so I am off to the state surplus lot to pick up a new one next week.
This time I think I will go with a SAP car from one of the state agencies.

Welcome from a fellow Austin type. I've been attempting to organize an Austin meetup for quite a while now. Covid has interfered to-date. However we are planning one for the early fall sometime when things are a tad cooler. Say September or October. Ok, not necessarily all that much cooler, but so the hope goes. Anyway, see if you can fit it into your schedule!

Post pictures of your new CVPI once you have it in-hand next week. I'd be interested to see it (and in-person at the meetup).
