Bust out that camera and take some pics, put some effort into your entry, and see how your car fares against the other contestants! Winner gets their car on the front page of CVN for the month, bragging rights, and ability to use the POTM icon under their username.

There are a few rules to follow.

No more joke/foot entries, y'all.

Since we're allowed to put some effort in this time:

Freshly waxed 1988 LTD CV LX, 56,7xx miles

Lo-po in all its glory

Goofy white running lights

Fresh dash pad cover

Adam's favorite song, in lieu of feet.

E-code lights w/ relays, LEDs w/ switchbacks, 15x8 Ansen slots w/ 255/60 BFG's, Kenwood stereo, various hacks.
This, of course, was merely the semi-delirious notion of a fever-patient, but I remember that it struck me at the time as being eminently practical and feasible.

I would rather be falsely labeled a foot fetishist than an Orleans fan! laugh

A 33 year-old car? and you've only driven it 56k miles?
What, you don't enjoy the car very much?

I've only had it two years. Prior to that it was a garage queen with a broken tranny and a hole in the fuel tank. I've put about 7K on it, but I don't have that many places to go.

I enjoy it a lot, and so does everyone who sees it. Can't tell you how many parking-lot conversations I've been in with this thing.

Well that explains a lot! biggrin That's how long I've had my '69 Marquis, and so I know there is a lot of sorting out that needs to be done. Someday I hope to see you and your car in person! I know you're a West-sider, so maybe a cruise in somewhere in the middle.. There was just one down on Granger (rt. 17) at the Big Boy down by the cloverleaf. Nice pics btw. Glad to see the POTM getting back on track.

It's bound to happen sometime. Don't you have a storage unit near the airport? I'm about 2 miles from the airport, so hit me up next time you're coming out this way. Usually I got nothin' better to do.

FULL DISCLOSURE FOR VOTERS: There's a lot of fading on the interior fabric surrounding the rear window, side moldings are a little oxidized, and the leather on the steering wheel is cracking. Surface rust on the frame and lower edge of the core support.

bluejay_32's 2008 Grand Marquis (no nickname yet)

91,371 miles

Mods include LED taillights and blacked out front lights - ambivalent on both. Changed over my rear fascia and with it my led lights in that from my other car. Dashcam I'm learning how to use. Factory in dash CD changer. New grille in the proper chrome. Detinted. PIAA wipers. Underdog.

Pros: Utah car - no rust. Paint is clean, interior is spotless. Loaded - I think it has every option available that year.

Cons: Still may need a windshield. Compass does not work. Hard to find part. EATC.

Pics:

And a dashcam video if you like LeBarons:
