Davidzq Over the Hill Registered: 01/19/15 Posts: 1010 Loc: Seattle, WA	Compass is a pretty easy fix. The solder for the surface mount resistors (Little black squares) gets cracked. Simply touch them up with a soldering iron, and you're good to go! Same reason the odometers go out. Beautiful car! And 08 was the last good year, before 90% of the options were discontented. Black interior? Agreed, 08 is the best DBW year, especially for CVPI. The dash did go out on me a couple times, which I hadn't experienced before with the message centre cluster, so I may take it apart and have a look at it, too.
