Well just got my 08 crown victoria back together after cleaning the tank and replacing the fuel pump..now im getting a [censored] load of codes p0107 p0405 p0452 p0642.. im thinking the cause of the issue maybe the fuel tank pressure sensor. It may of got wet while I was cleaning the tank...Are there any other electrical components on the fuel tank besides the ftps???

Are the 2 large vapor canisters inside the tank liquid proof?

And can the fuel tank pressure sensor be replaced by itself?

The only electrical components are the fuel pump and fuel level indicator inside the tank and the three wire harness that goes from the fuel pump cover to the pressure sensor on the top passenger side of the tank.
Unfortunately, I am not sure how easy it will be to replace the fuel pressure sensor as it is molded into the a plastic fitting with hoses attached to each end that are crimped in place.
It is usually part of the entire plastic / rubber hose assembly. On the 2003 CV a replacement is only shown as the entire hose assembly.

OK..I just checked for a 2007 CV and Dorman offers a kit to replace the pressure sensor. They are about $55 on Rock Auto.

Apparently the DORMAN 911260 kit will fit 2006-2010 Crown Vic and MGM but not earlier models due to a change in construction of the hose assembly that fits over the tank. The Town Car is also excluded.
