Got the replacement righthand UCA so it went in this afternoon. The first one was defective. Use to have the shakes at the speed limit and a noticeable knocking sound when rocking steering wheel back and forth. It's mostly gone.

In light of my recent family changes...it appears that I've inherited free storage for the wagon this winter.

(And yes, I know the property looks abandoned...it pretty much was neglected for the past 10 years)

Yeah - mostly because it's probably not sticking around as it will be considered probate-able and therefore used to settle estate debts if her bank accounts don't cover it.

If the bank accounts cover the estate expenses, I'll keep the Jeep or give it to my dad, but neither of us are "Jeep people"...so a few months outside ain't gonna hurt it.

The P7B got a good wash yesterday after I did yardwork, and is now in my 1-car detached garage staying clean.

Put the snow tires on even though it was 60* here in Chicago, then washed it and cleaned out the trunk.

That sparkling Mercury wagon looks like a brother to the Colony Park used in the "Major Dad" television series... (filmed in the early 1990s, now streaming on Netflix.)
