Buddy came down with it actually behind a ~2007 Tundra V8. He's towed several Panthers on U-Haul car loaders like that with it and he says they tow nicely and are easy for loading and unloading.

Myself personally, I have not pulled one of the U-Haul car trailers, just the dollies so far.

Drivers window up switch stopped working. Contact is worn and covered in carbon. Burnishing fixed it temporarily.

This, of course, was merely the semi-delirious notion of a fever-patient, but I remember that it struck me at the time as being eminently practical and feasible.

This actually generated 911 calls in Lake County. They were out at Kirtland Park (in Cleveland) doing the remote broadcast. When it went sideways, people on the air started saying "call 911" so of course, commuters in Lake County started dialing 911. Since I'd been listening in the morning and was aware of what the day's 'dare' was, I knew what was happening, so I started transferring the calls direct to Cleveland EMS. Then I called 92.3 in an effort to tell them that help was on the way and to ask them to stop dialing 911. Of course, they patched me through on the air immediately, and my boss was pissed. laugh

Man I love that old Colony Park! Great to see its being taken care of.

I miss driving my Crown Vic, I'm perusing the auctions looking for another one which looks suitable...

Took the sandbags out of my trunk and went to my storage locker and got my winter weight out. Goddammit those steel rims are heavy.

Took it to a local shop to have the ball joints done, since I noticed I could see the actual balls when I was doing brake work earlier. Also been noticing it kinda follows cracks, and can hear a lot of rattling around going over bumps- more than I should.

Of course, got a call with a list of other things. Both tie rod ends and the idler arm are trashed, and there's a coolant leak of unknown origin. So, that's all getting taken care of too. They're also throwing on the sway bar links that I didn't get around to before it got cold.

I'll probably have bought this car all over again by the time everything is said and done, but as long as nothing else catastrophic happens for a few years, it's all good. Went through this with the Vic too, it lasted another 6 years without trouble.

Hopefully it's done early this week. It's supposed to be fairly warm, and I want to work on getting the remote start in.

Pulled quite a few of those, among those one time pulling a Panther and another time my Grand Prix which I believe overloaded it. Never had a problem with them. Slide-in ramps were nice.

Well I had intentions of getting the Vic out again but the salt has been spread, so away it stays. I put fuel stabilizer in the tank and discoed the battery yesterday. Down for the winter nap.

I had something to add to this. I used a U-haul flatbed hauler to pull a family member's 2013 RAV4 from Jacksonville, FL to Rhode Island with the Sierra in my sig. Trailer towed nice the whole way and I had zero issues. I was a bit nervous too because the trailer I got looked a little tired, but it was completely fine the entire time. Set up and use was a cinch. 100% would rent one again if I needed it.

This was somewhere in North or South Carolina.
