I mean,

I paid 5 grand for my absolutely mint Delta 88. I think it had 29K on it when I bought it. Granted, I bought it in 2014.

Frankly, there isn’t much interest in 80’s box sedans yet. They haven’t quite reached that peak of like what mint 50’s/60’s/70’s cars bring in.. yet.

So I think 6.6 is fair. On Craigslist he would have been beaten to death on price and had to deal with scummy tire kickers and other undesirables.

Here's an extreme example:

Y2K MGM w/ digi-dash, under 20 miles. No typo. $30K Canuckbucks (also not a typo)

E-code lights w/ relays, LEDs w/ switchbacks, 15x8 Ansen slots w/ 255/60 BFG's, Kenwood stereo, various hacks.
This, of course, was merely the semi-delirious notion of a fever-patient, but I remember that it struck me at the time as being eminently practical and feasible.

I saw that car when it first appeared on Barnfinds. I check it out daily. That car's mileage justifies the price. And even though it is an LS with a digi-dash, I could never go back to cloth seats after having leather, so my interest in the car evaporated. tongue2
